GRANT REQUEST GUIDELINES

QUALIFYING ORGANIZATION:
501 (c) (3) Organizations benefitting residents, facilities or programs affecting Chenango County.
AMOUNTS AVAILABLE:
- Awards may be less than the amount requested.
- Awards may be in the form of matching or challenge grants.
- Expenses incurred prior to a grant award are seldomt reimbursable.
- The grant period for completion is 24 months from the award unless otherwise noted in the award letter.
- Progress reports are expected at 6 month intervals.
PROPOSAL FORMAT:
- One or two sided typed or word processed sheets, white paper, pages numbered in order.
- The first 2 pages are to be the Foundation’s application form, available on this website or by contacting the Administrator.
- The total project cost must be identified. Total funding must be identified. The request must be for a specific amount.
- Attachments should include total project estimates and/or bid quotes. Two quotes are necessary if the costs and funding are $10,000 or more.
- Please submit 10 full copies of the complete application and any attachments.
- Written confirmation of a completed application will be provided by our Administrator.
